CorpusData License Prep

Company data, licensed on your terms.

We advise companies and their attorneys on selling internal records to AI developers. We inventory what you hold, work through the rights, and represent you, the seller, in the deal.

No buyer or price is promised. Nothing leaves your control without your written approval.

Advice, preparation and representation

One team across the whole path from first question to signed license.

Advise

Find out whether your records are worth licensing and what limits apply, before you spend time on a deal.

Prepare

We inventory your tools and volumes, flag rights and privacy issues, and package a clear summary buyers can evaluate.

Represent

We act for you, not the buyer. We approach buyers you approve, negotiate terms, and bring every offer back to you.

How a deal moves

You approve each step before the next one starts.

  1. Intake

Tell us what you hold: tools, years, volumes, and who can approve a license.

  2. Inventory

We turn that into a clear inventory a buyer can read in minutes.

  3. Rights review with counsel

Ownership, customer contracts, employee terms, platform terms and privacy law. Your own attorney signs off before anything moves.

  4. De-identification

Personal details are removed before any sample is shared. The buyer or a specialist does this work under terms you approve.

  5. Approach

We contact only the buyers you approve and share only what you authorize.

  6. Terms

We negotiate for you. You decide. Nothing is signed without your written approval.

Where licensable records tend to live

Buyers ask which tools hold your records, how many, and for how many years.

What we leave out

  • Privileged or confidential client material.
  • Health, financial and children's data, unless counsel clears it.
  • Records your company does not own.
  • Anything you have not approved.

Old records, new income

Years of chat, tickets and customer notes pile up as a storage cost. Some AI developers license exactly that kind of material. We help you find out whether yours qualifies, and what a license could mean for the company.

No buyer or price is promised. You get a straight answer on whether it is worth pursuing.

This is a big decision. Ask any advisor these six questions.
Who do you work for?
You. We represent the seller.
Who pays you?
Fees are written down before work starts. If a buyer would ever pay us, we tell you first.
Will you promise a price?
No. We tell you what looks realistic and what does not.
Who holds my data?
You do, until you approve a specific step in writing.
Can I stop?
Yes, at any point before you sign.
Who checks the legal side?
Your own attorney. We prepare the facts for them.

Questions

Do you guarantee a buyer or a price?

No. Whether your records have value depends on the buyer, the data and the rights. We tell you early if we think the answer is no.

Who sees my data?

The intake asks you to describe your data, not send it. Records stay with you until you approve a specific step in writing.

How are you paid?

Fees are set in writing before work starts. If a buyer would ever pay us, we tell you first.

My company is closing. Is it too late?

Often not, but who can approve a license depends on how the company is wound down. Investors, creditors or a trustee may need to agree. Keep accounts active and do not delete anything until you have asked.

Are you a law firm?

No. We are a business advisory and brokerage service and we do not give legal advice. Questions about who owns your records or what your contracts allow go to your own attorney, and we work with them.

Tell us what you hold.

It takes about five minutes. A member of the team will be in touch.
